Photo of a cock on a farm in Canterbury, New Zealand. The cock is mostly kept on the farm for breeding with the femaile chickens to makemore baby chicks to either sell of lay more eggs. The cock is recogniseable by its big red comb on its head and much more colourful feathers. The cock can be quite aggressive and will crow very loudly early in the moring to let everyone know he is boss on the farm. |
